BETA Version information:
This firmware is released as a beta version. It can be used in production environments once the required use case is tested before installation. If you need to upgrade a device deployed in a remote location, it is advisable to first test the configuration and update locally to ensure the system is working correctly.
Warning:
After upgrade to version 5.x.x the device cannot be downgraded to a lower firmware versions.
Known issues:
- HTTPs Web server is not possible to run in paralel to NETIO Cloud. You have to choose only one of them.
- Temperature sensor is supported only in MQTT-flex and JSON API
- NETIO cloud pairing process need better reporting about connection and device status
- Missing display of NR counter in GUI for every metered output
- Import and Export of configuration possible only in HTTP mode.
- Firmware update is possible only in HTTP mode.
- Missing some log messages (e.g. output set from web ...)
- Combination MQTT + SSL and HTTPs is sometimes unstable. Depending on size of MQTT server used certificates.
- When connected to LAN and attempting to connect to WiFi, the WiFi driver may not connect after the first LAN disconnection. Repeated LAN connection and disconnection or a device restart may be needed.
- In URL API is bug when setting up an password in GUI. Not possible to set up password.
- API SMNP - Missing MIB file
Upgrading procedure & troubleshooting:
- Open/Install Mozilla Firefox web browser.
- Upgrade your device to firmware version 4.0.5 - 1.55, including the low-level system (this will cause a restart of the outputs). Download here.
- Wait until the device is responsive and working properly.
- Upgrade to firmware version 5.0.3 (this can take up to 5 minutes).
- Refresh the browser by pressing CTRL+F5 (or click to reload).
- Try to log in with your credentials.
- If you are able to log in, skip to step 15. If you are not able to log in, go to the next step.
- Open the web address: http://<DEVICE IP>/update.html
- Fill in your credentials and click on the "Login" button.
- Check if you see the message "Logged in."
- Select the No-Output-Restart firmware package file from this archive.
- Click on the "Start Update" button and wait 5 minutes (there is no progress bar, you will need to wait).
- After 5 minutes, try to open the device web page: http://<DEVICE IP>
- Try to log in with your credentials (it should work now; if not, contact support).
- Check your setup and device functionality in your system.
